Sugarille 2013 is a powerful and profound Brunello di Montalcino crafted by Angelo Gaja from the historic Sugarille vineyard, part of the Pieve Santa Restituta estate. Made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grown on galestro and limestone-rich soils, this wine is aged for several years to reveal the full complexity of its terroir.

Description and characteristics

The bouquet offers underbrush, new leather, wild herbs, and dark berries, with balsamic hints of eucalyptus. On the palate, it is full-bodied and firmly structured, showing flavors of raspberry compote, spirit-soaked cherries, tobacco, and star anise, supported by dense, refined tannins. A wine built to age gracefully for decades.
