The 2012 vintage was marked by a cool climate and slow ripening, resulting in aromatic finesse, silky tannins, and excellent balance. After a long maceration and fermentation with native yeasts, the wine was aged for 48–60 months in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by at least 12 months in bottle. On the nose, it reveals raspberry, cherry, dried flowers, and mineral hints. The palate is structured, elegant, with a long and harmonious finish. Excellent aging potential until 2038. Suggested pairings: red meats, game, aged cheeses, dark chocolate, or enjoyed alone as a meditation wine.
