Lupicaia 2010 is a wine of great intensity and depth, made from a Bordeaux-style blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot. Aged for about 18 months in new tonneaux, it shows a focused and refined character, more reminiscent of Bordeaux than New World styles.

Description and characteristics

Tasting notes: The nose reveals complex aromas of worn leather, white truffle, dried cherry, red plum, dried rose, and turned earth. On the palate, it is compact, medium to full-bodied, with fine tannins and elegant structure. The finish is long, with notes of black pepper, dark chocolate, and Mediterranean spices.
