Tignanello 2021 is one of Italy’s most iconic Super Tuscans, produced by Marchesi Antinori at the Tignanello Estate in the heart of Chianti Classico. The 2021 vintage was exceptional, with ideal weather conditions allowing for slow and complete grape ripening

Description and characteristics

The wine is a blend of 79% Sangiovese, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 8% Cabernet Franc, aged for about 15 months in French and Hungarian oak barriques, followed by an additional 12 months in bottle. It shows a deep ruby red color with purple highlights. The bouquet reveals ripe plum, blackberry, candied orange peel, dark chocolate, caramel, licorice, and sweet tobacco. On the palate, it is rich, graceful, and intense, with sweet, vibrant tannins and a long, persistent finish
