Aromas: violet and rose, balsamic notes, berry jam, tar and leather, truffle. Palate: superb in flavor and perfect in development; warm, full-bodied, soft yet endowed with an elegant tension; intense fruit with mature and important tannins.

Description and characteristics

The fermentation lasts about 28 days with daily pumping over and délestage in the middle of the period (vinification in steel tanks). 

Aging in 16 hl Slavonian oak barrels (from 18 to 36 months depending on the vintage).
