A history now over fifty years long that has certainly taken its protagonist Dorino Livon far away, to the point of making him one of the most successful and well-known Friulian winemakers. A story, however, which has its origins in a passion and in a family tradition: the love for one's land, Friuli, in particular for that extreme strip that represents the last bastion of Italy towards Europe eastern: the Collio and the Eastern Hills of Friuli. In 1964 Dorino Livon bought the first plot of land on the Collio hills and to that, little by little, he added others. Thus, the Livon farm grows year after year.

At the moment, more than half a century after that distant 1964, the grandsons of Dorino Livon, who actively became part of the family business, represent the future development of the winery in the sign of continuity. Between the rows, both native varieties and international grapes meet, and the plants are raised in the name of craftsmanship aimed at respecting the environment and ecosystem. In the cellar, the production philosophy pursued is aimed at achieving the highest quality, without compromise. Among all the labels, to name but a few, we start from the “Braide Alte”, then move on to the “Tiareblù” and the “Valbuins”, up to the “Roncalto” and the “Solarco”; wines, those produced by the Livon winery, for the most part vinified in purity, intriguing and satisfying, engaging and never predictable, highly representative expression of what their terroir is.
