A Barolo of great elegance and precision, sourced from the Monvigliero cru in Verduno, one of the most refined sites in the appellation. The 2019 vintage was excellent, with ideal conditions for slow and complete Nebbiolo ripening.
Medium-dark garnet in color. The nose reveals a complex and refined aromatic profile: wild cherry, Japanese plum, crushed rose, iris root, candied orange peel, clove, and black pepper 1. On the palate, it is full and silky, with polished tannins and a structure that balances power and finesse. Flavors of licorice, tobacco, dark chocolate, and bitter spices round out the experience. A deep wine, enjoyable now but with excellent aging potential.
