The warm 2015 vintage enhanced the power and finesse of Nebbiolo, resulting in a wine of great depth and aging potential. “Tildin” is a tribute to Clotilde Rey, Angelo Gaja’s grandmother, a central figure in the family’s legacy.

Description and characteristics

Tasting notes: The nose opens with balsamic and floral aromas such as lavender, basil, and freshly cut grass, followed by spices like white pepper, clove, and cinnamon. On the palate, it is compact and refined, with flavors of red apple, wild strawberry, blood orange, and licorice. Fine-grained tannins and a persistent, harmonious finish complete the experience.
