The Maison Aubry is based in that northern corner of the Montagne de Reims, in the small village of Jouy-Les-Reims classified as Premier Cru in the Champagne area. Since 1986, the Aubry winery has been managed by the brothers Pierre and Philippe Aubry, descendants of a family dedicated to viticulture since 1790. The first is a certified winemaker from the 'Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Agronomie', the second biologist, the two brothers have been able to enhance the know how of the family by proposing a series of cuveé with a unique character: a winning mix of love for tradition and an innovative approach to oenology.

The philosophy of the Aubry winery can be easily summarized in a few but significant words: rigor, respect for traditions, originality and creativity. The rigor of the agronomist who obsessively favors the quality of the grapes at the expense of quantity; respect for traditions with the use of traditional machinery, selection of the "coeur de la cuvé" and élevage in wooden barrels; originality of an individual imprint different from all other Champagnes, creativity with the search for ancient vines, to revive the wine of the late eighteenth century, a very lively wine that saw the birth of the Aubry cellars. In the 15 hectares of vineyards, consisting of about sixty plots, the brothers cultivate the three classic Champagne vines, namely Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, but for their rosé they also use a small percentage of Pinot Blanc. Pierre and Philippe are also engaged in the recovery of rare vines, today in danger of extinction, such as Arbanne, the ancient Petit Meslier and Enfumé, known as Blanc Vrai.
