List of products by brand Guido Marsella

Guido Marsella was one of the pioneers in the rediscovery and enhancement of Fiano di Avellino and the Summonte area, now considered as a cru that manages to imprint the wines with a clearly recognizable expressive stamp. After an experience as a building contractor for the family business, Guido, in love with the countryside, bought land in the Summonte area in Iripinia and founded the winery in 1995. He was the first Fiano producer to release the wines on the market a year after the harvest, in a state of complete ripeness, inaugurating, with his choice, a new path, later taken by other producers. Today, on the strength of long experience and great recognition, Guido has even gone so far as to wait two years after the harvest to release some of his wines, reinterpreting the terroir in terms of aromatic complexity and longevity.

Guido Marsella's vineyards are included in the Partenio Regional Park, at an altitude of about 600 meters. The hilly terrain, the high altitude, the clay loam soil, rich in volcanic elements, rocky structure and the presence of beneficial winds contribute to the health of the vines, the maintenance of environmental balance and low yields, to privilege quality. This is one of the best terroirs for the cultivation of Fiano, a very ancient vine that has always been linked to the wine history of Campania and the traditions of the area, but also Greco di Tufo and Falanghina. Ihn winery, the grapes are destemmed and crushed and each procedure is carried out in steel, at low temperature to always ensure the wines' sharpness and aromatic cleanliness. Aging takes place on the fine lees in steel and can last up to 12 months.

Guido Marsella's wines are always elegant and expressive, endowed with concentration and a markedly floral and citrus tone, with slight smoky overtones. Very low yields per hectare, grape selection, unforced cellar processing and long aging periods guarantee the high quality and uncommon evolutionary potential of the wines produced. Guido's style is well recognizable and territorial, aimed at the correct expression of the native white grape varieties of Irpinia and of one of the most vocated and differentiating territories.
