Founded in 1760 in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a grand cru village located in la Côte des Blancs, Champagne Delamotte works this enchanting terroir to grow chardonnay, the only white grape variety used to make champagne.

Well-reputed among sommeliers and wine enthusiasts, our champagnes are known for their consistency, delicacy and exceptional character. For over 260 years, we have been developing four different cuvées, a small range that gives amateurs and experts alike a clear understanding of the art of champagne. Our Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Blancs vintage, Brut and Rosé are quintessentiel champagne wines.

At Champagne Delamotte, we are proud to share our savoir-faire as it is our firm belief that champagne is a universal language that anybody can learn.

Brut Delamotte is a classic assemblage Champagne, made with grapes from various parts of the region. The Chardonnay comes from the Grand Crus of the Côte des Blancs, Cramant, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Oger, the Pinot Noir from Tours-sur-Marne, Bouzy, Ambonnay, finally a small percentage of Meunier completes the cuvée. At the end of harvesting operations, the different grapes are vinified separately, with soft pressing of the bunches and fermentation at a controlled temperature. After a few months of aging, the vins clairs are blended to create the final cuvée. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, with a rest period on the lattes of about 24 months.

Champagne Brut Delamotte is a label with a classic face, the Maison's true calling card. It is ideal for understanding the elegant and harmonious style that distinguishes the entire range and is appreciated for its immediate pleasantness. It is a perfect Champagne for all occasions, particularly suitable for a refined aperitif or to accompany appetizers or seafood. The color is light straw yellow, crossed by a luminous, subtle and continuous perlage. The nose seduces with delicate floral scents, citrus fragrances of lemon peel, aromas of white-fleshed fruit and nuances of bread crust. The sip is intense and satisfying, with ripe fruit and a finish of good freshness and persistence.
