Over the years the constant work of the family has transformed the wines of Pouilly-Fumé into products of excellent quality, making them very capable of rivaling all the remaining best whites in the world. In 1972, the Baron de Ladoucette inherited the original lands and extended them by buying plots in the Sancerre, Pouilly-Fuissé, Chablis, Champagne, Vouvray and Chinon regions, thus expanding the family's centuries-old wine business.
