Claudio Conterno and Guido Fantino have always been aware that traditions, agronomic knowledge, enological knowledge and the excellence of the terroirs lead to the production of superior quality wines. Precisely on the basis of these convictions, the "Conterno Fantino" winery was founded in 1982, which currently, in Monforte d’Alba, has just under thirty hectares of vineyards, including owned and rented vineyards. Recently renovated in the winemaking and aging rooms, the company rigorously maintains the historical expressive approach, so the entire range of "Conterno Fantino" labels is always characterized by a complex, rich and intact stamp on the fruit.

By conducting the rows in an organic regime, pure and precious grapes give life to equally excellent wines: clusters of nebbiolo, barbera, dolcetto and chardonnay are traditionally processed, preferring, obviously especially for reds, long periods of aging in wood and the same long periods of aging in glass. Here, bottles come to life in this way, the result of an unconditional love for their lands, or wines, such as those of the "Conterno Fantino" winery, which can be considered as a direct consequence of respect for ancient production methods, thanks to which results are achieved expressive and vigorous winemakers, but at the same time also elegant, refined and precious.
