List of products by brand Arnaud Ente

The Domaine Arnaud Ente is today one of the most interesting wine estates in the whole area surrounding Mersault, probably the brightest rising star in all of Burgundy in recent years. Arnaud's family is originally from the north of France. Arnaud's father married the daughter of vigneron Puligny Camille David, and Arnaud was born of this union in 1966. Arnaud married Marie-Odile Thévenot in 1991, and the following year he started working in Meursault, starting with the cultivation of vineyards rented by his father-in-law, Phillipe Thévenot. The goal of the Domaine is very simple and clear: to do the best possible work starting from the vineyards that are available.

Today the daily work takes place on a total area of 4 hectares, with a total workforce of four people: in addition to Arnaud, we find his wife, Marie-Odile, and two employees to help. Few, if any other wineries, have such a high ratio of man hours per hectare. Arnaud is meticulous to say the least, both in the cellar and in the vineyard. The grapes are sometimes crushed before pressing in a hydraulic press, before the must is decanted and then put into cask. 600-liter woods are used for its Aligoté, Bourgogne Blanc and some of Meursault's pinot noir cuvées. The rest of the wines currently produced are vinified and aged in regular barrels for the first year, without too much emphasis on new oak - the percentage of new wooden barrels used has dropped from 35% to 20% and a variety of different barrel types are being used. now used to increase the complexity of the final wines -. Stylistically, the labels signed by Domaine Arnaud are placed between the rich, generous and hedonistic gustatory style and a precise, mineral and citrus olfactory profile; among the different bottles presented, no doubt special attention should be paid to the "Clos des Ambres" and "Les Petit Charrons".
